One constraint, applied everywhere

Red Method came to us with four seasons of campaign work that shared no visual thread. Each had been art directed well and none of them looked like the same label.

Rather than write another set of guidelines nobody would read, we set a single constraint and applied it across every touchpoint. The result is a campaign that reads as one body of work while leaving the styling team room to move each season.

The system now covers lookbook, editorial, paid social and the in-store display kit, all produced from the same shoot rather than three separate ones.

  • Look Like One Label — Make four seasons of work read as a single body.
  • Keep Seasonal Freedom — Leave the styling team room to move without breaking continuity.
  • Cut Production Cost — Produce every channel from one shoot instead of three.

Early exploration

Sketches and wireframes

Red Method had four seasons of campaign work that shared no visual thread. Each had been art directed well on its own terms, and none of them looked like they came from the same label.

Rather than write another set of guidelines nobody would open, we set a single production constraint and applied it across every touchpoint, from the shoot brief to the in-store display kit.

Working through the structure

Project results

One colour, one lens, and no styling that could not be repeated in-store. That constraint did more for consistency than any amount of written guidance.

  • Single Shoot — Every channel drawn from the same day of production.
  • Repeatable Styling — Nothing on set that the retail team cannot recreate.
  • Seasonal Variance — The constraint holds; the palette and casting move each season.

Four seasons on, the work still reads as one label, and production runs at roughly a third of the previous cost.
